Willesden is an attractive and prosperous town centre with a very distinct character and individuality. Long known for its Irish heritage, Willesden, today, is enriched by many cultures, all of which help shape it into one of Brent’s most lively town centres.

Willesden Green is an attractive town centre located in the Borough of Brent in West London. It is located only a short distance by tube from Zone 1 and has become an increasingly attractive location to live with many newcomers in recent years taking advantage of the quality of housing stock and ease of access.

When visiting Willesden, you will find a wide selection of things to do and see, including numerous bars and restaurants, as well as a varied range of stores and services including fashion boutiques, eateries and art and crafts, in addition to regular high street names such as Sainsbury’s and Barclays Bank.

At the heart of Willesden is the newly refurbished Willesden Green Library Centre, Brent Museum, the Willesden Bookshop and the popular Belle Vue cinema showing the latest blockbusters and also foreign language films. This is complimented by the presence nearby of a number of independent cafés which hold considerable potential for expansion and the eventual adoption of a café culture in the town centre.

All of which serve to make your visit or stay an interesting and genuinely different one to what you may normally expect from London town.

The selection of shops and services that can be found in Willesden are predominantly from independent traders with a presence by nationally famous chains represented in the main by banking institutions and a Sainsbury’s main and local store. Willesden is also home to a high number of restaurants and public houses and is one of Brent’s more popular centres for socialising.

Willesden Green attractiveness is reinforced by it’s designation as a conservation area. The quality and history of the local built environment is considerable and an important asset to safeguard and improve where possible. The centre is characterised by its late Victorian architecture and is quite striking as a shopping district. From the bottom of Willesden to the top you will find a bustling and energetic place with a great deal to offer all those who live, work or visit Willesden and we look forward to welcoming you here.
