Once again, on 17th March this year, Willesden will host the traditional St.Patrick‟s Day parade and celebrations. The parade will start at Willesden Green Tube Station and finish at the Library where three hours of live music and dance will entertain the crowd.
Street performers, stalls and Irish caterers will add to the enjoyment. Over 250 people took part in last years parade with several thousand watching and joining in the main celebrations. Local businesses are encouraged to get involved from displaying a shop window poster to decorating a float in the parade or taking a stall. Event Details

Activities: Stage with live music, dance and performances, Irish caterers, cultural workshops and activities, street performers and the spectacular parade.
Attendance: Over 250 local people participated in the 2008 parade, with thousands of I people lining the streets to watch. Audiences of approximately 3,000 attend the event at Willesden Green Library.

St Patrick's Day · Overview: The event starts with a parade through the thriving restaurant and shopping area, which involves local residents working with businesses to produce floats and costumes.
The parade leads participants to a celebratory family event in Willesden Green Library Centre. The music stage is a platform for a Ceildh, Irish performers and musicians and will be located outdoors. There will be children's cultural workshops, shopping and food for all.
How you can get involved in Brent St Patrick's Day celebrations? 1. Have a float in the parade. You could use the company truck and decorate it in the Irish colours or decorate your bicycle, pram or buggy.
