Willesden Town Centre Partnership is a joint initiative between Brent Council, local businesses and other key stakeholders such as the Police Service. The Partnership seeks to improve Willesden by a combination of activities designed to encourage new investment and environmental improvements with the objective of creating a town centre that is vibrant, entertaining and attractive for all who live, work and visit here. The Partnership meets on a quarterly basis to review past activities and update on future projects which effect the town centre. Consisting of between 10 to 15 members, it is chaired by a member of the business community. All members of the Partnership are equal and all want to work together to ensure Willesden remains a healthy and prosperous centre. Some of the current activities the Partnership is progressing include; - The management of regular themed events and activities including the French Market and African Showcase
- Business support programme and shop front improvement scheme
- Networking events
- Marketing and promotion of Willesden town centre
- Development of a three year business plan to run from April 2007 (for more information please click regeneration in main menu above)
